Great President, as defined by Obama

A quote from America's smartest President: "I'd rather be a great first-time President than a mediocre two-time President."

The quote was obviously aimed at Barack's favorite target, George W. Bush. I'm not a George W. apologist -- I believe W. was responsible for some of the problems we're in right now.

There were things I didn't agree with and I wasn't bashful about saying so. But I digress; if you're a "great first-time President..." you would likely be given a chance to be a second-term President. Frankly I wouldn't give up my community organizer job after 2012. Oh, and let's hope the next President gives you the same treatment that you've given to George W. The new President will certainly have plenty to work with.

For those who have seen the movie, The Princess Bride you'll remember the line , "I do not believe this word means what you think it means." Inconceivable!

I could argue he's right in the fact that transparent is partially invisible. But I'd be more comfortable in arguing he's killed all thoughts of transparency by lethal injection.

When I created this blog it was primarily for me to have a vehicle to vent through and maybe see if there are any like-minded malcontents out there.

Although my rantings often involve politics and firearms I'm interested in other interests you may have, including opposing views. That's what makes the world go 'round. But that's just me.

A Wyoming rancher got in his pickup and drove to a neighboring ranch and knocked at the door. A young boy, about 9, opened the door "Is your Dad home?" the rancher asked.
