Great President, as defined by Obama

A quote from America's smartest President: "I'd rather be a great first-time President than a mediocre two-time President."

The quote was obviously aimed at Barack's favorite target, George W. Bush. I'm not a George W. apologist -- I believe W. was responsible for some of the problems we're in right now.

There were things I didn't agree with and I wasn't bashful about saying so. But I digress; if you're a "great first-time President..." you would likely be given a chance to be a second-term President. Frankly I wouldn't give up my community organizer job after 2012. Oh, and let's hope the next President gives you the same treatment that you've given to George W. The new President will certainly have plenty to work with.

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico
Gunmen ambushed two police vehicles at a busy intersection in this drug- and violence-plagued city, killing seven officers and a 17-year-old boy who was passing by, authorities said.

So these are those jobs that us Americans don't want to do, eh?

I'm tired of hearing those who have no problem with illegals in this country telling us that we're racist for opposing it. This isn't racism; it's the cold, hard facts.

When I created this blog it was primarily for me to have a vehicle to vent through and maybe see if there are any like-minded malcontents out there.

Although my rantings often involve politics and firearms I'm interested in other interests you may have, including opposing views. That's what makes the world go 'round. But that's just me.
